Time Restored Limited :: Hands

At present all hands are made to order, and can be cut from brass or steel. They are hand-cut in the traditional way and then fettled or sculpted if steel, and embossed if brass. When ordering please choose the pattern you require from a standard reference book such as Barder, Britten, Cescinsky and Webster, Loomes, Robey, Robinson or Rose.

For steel hands we will need to know:

Length of hand from centre to tip

Mild or carbon steel

Fettled and polished, or left as cut

Thickness of material

Diameter of boss

Style or pattern

Blued or left bright

For brass hands we will need to know:

Length of hand from centre to tip

Fettled and embossed or left as cut

Thickness of material

Diameter of boss

Style or pattern

Gilded or un-gilded

We are happy to undertake supplying single hands to suit one of a missing pair, or complete sets of hands. Seconds hands, date hands, strike/silent hands....anything you require. Hands are usually despatched within two weeks.
